tony, yes at this moment in time we do not have a great deal to look forward to...(apart from the wembley trip, which you dont ,do you ??)....but if you really think we are finished as a football club, then you really do need to remember you have been relegated as well....it might take a few years and a lot of restructuring on and off the field, but we will be back....maybe even pass you guys on our way up...if we do, i dont think any pompey fan will be gloating, especially if you were in the same mess as us....rinse your mouth out with mouthwash, it helps too take away the taste of sour grapes...best of luck in your bid for europe, always good to see a so called unfashionable team do well.....

overall we would have taken the trip to wembley over the 3 points but at least we have a future where it's possible to achieve something,what do you have ?

Couldn't agree with you more.. You (as a bankrupt club who can't run your own affairs in a professional manner) should have been kicked out as soon as admin was rhumoured.. You have players.. Who aren't your players who u cannot afford to pay... Your whole premiership status would be an insignificant matter if you hadn't gambled on you future by spendind amazingly stupid amounts to keep yourselves in the premiership when u went on that amazing run the seaon we got relegated.. Your club is crooked, run by cheats and crooks, and the FA are weak.. If they had ANY stomach whatsoever.. Any club declaring itself insolvent should A) have to return all loan players with immediate effect, B) be kicked out of all competitions and C) be relegated at the end of the season... This is not a perticular vent of anger against Portsmouth, however you are the unfortunate recipients.. Please do bear in mind that it is not the fans that create this situation.. You will not see the platters struggling to feed their families or to fuel their hummers BMWs or porsches.. In a way I feel sorry for you guys... But the seeds that were sewn were from your own hands.. You are therefor culpable.. So pity is very much limited as your garden is now growing the poisenous weeds that you and your board have sewn.. Enjoy wembley.. And enjoy the long arduous slippy icy sloap into insignificance... I am afraid that this is the result of gambling your future away

Your club has been run like Trotters Independent....and it's always the supporters who get the s**t....I didn't see it as revenge, being a Birmingham supporter, just another 3pts and continuation of a great season we're having under McCleish...Enjoy your day at Wembley, unfortunately I think it'll be a long time before you enjoy anything else.....

Regardless it's still revenge though isn't it!? It just proves it was a complete fluke by Portsmouth to beat Birmingham in the FA Cup in the first place. Portsmouth strengthened their team with the replacement of the awful Utaka for Dindane while Birmingham made three changes which could have been seen as 'weakening' their team but such is Birmingham's strength in depth they had enough quality players to see off Portsmouth. You're going to Wembley well done but your not going to win so what's the point? We have three points which may get us a unlikely Europa League position and a good standing in the league with a financial incentive you meanwhile could win the FA Cup still be ineligible to play in Europe and if you don't have a CVA face life in the Championship on -15 points. Really who's got revenge?

I'm a blues (Birmingham) fan - and I agree totally with your comments - both would have preferred to win the FA Cup game as the league holds little for either team now.

You're probably right in your assessment. My question is: if you are docked 9 points by the Premier League for getting into a financial mess, why don't you get thrown out of the FA Cup? Overspending on transfer fees and wages gives you an unfair advantage in both competitions.

I agree,you can have the tree points from last night in return for the SF spot.Although,does the fact that you can't enter europe next season,mean that 8th spot could get us into europe if you get to the final.If so,those 3 points from last night could be priceless.

As for Levy, Spurs have been big spenders for the last few years and still make a profit each year. Check your facts before you start mouthing off.

That 'mug editor' was quite correct: O'Hara is definitely limited, hence why we loaned him out. But he's been your best player, so maybe we shouldn't have done you that favour.

As for our finances, we have Levy 'at the reins', and he knows how to run a club.
